Circumstances of the Case
- In the early morning hours of April 29, 2014, Ingala-Whiting responded to a Craigslist advertisement posted by the victim soliciting a sexual encounter.
- The defendant met 47-year-old Francesco Bonomolo at his home in Mission Viejo.
- Ingala-Whiting murdered Bonomolo by stabbing him multiple times while in the victim's home.
- On May 4, 2014, an acquaintance went to Bonomolo's home and discovered the victim's body.
- The Orange County Sheriff's Department investigated this case and arrested Ingala-Whiting in San Diego County on May 12, 2014.
