SANTA ANA, Calif. – A San Diego third striker was sentenced today to 99 years to life in state prison for rape, human trafficking, pimping and pandering several women and a minor.

Circumstances of the Case

Jackson is a human trafficker/pimp who exploits women and/or children for financial gain. The victims are required to turn over all payment they receive for sex acts from sex purchasers to their pimp. Failure to follow these rules can result in physical and/or emotional abuse.

• From September 2013 to October 2013, Jackson trafficked, pimped, and pandered 18-year-old Jane Doe 1.
• Jackson posted sexually explicit advertisements of the victim on websites known for prostitution, and took all of the money Jane Doe 1 received from sex purchasers for his own use.
• Jackson forcibly raped the victim several times after she refused to have sex with him.
• Oct. 25, 2013, Jane Doe 1 called her mother from a hotel in Anaheim to request help.
• The victim's mother immediately called Anaheim Police Department (APD), who located and contacted Jane Doe 1.
• Members of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force (OCHTTF) investigated this case and identified Jane Doe 2, who was pimped and pandered by Jackson alongside Jane Doe 1.
• On Sept. 8, 2014, OCHTTF arrested Jackson in Anaheim.
• At the time of his arrest, the defendant was with victim Jane Doe 5, who was trafficked and forcibly raped by the defendant between January 2014 and March 2014 with force and fear, including breaking a door when she attempted to flee.
• Jackson pimped, pandered, and forcibly raped Jane Doe 5, who was 17 years old the first time the defendant sent her on a date with a sex purchaser.
• Over the course of OCHTTF's investigation, police discovered that in the spring of 2014, the defendant pimped and pandered victims 19-year-old Jane Doe 3 and 21-year-old Jane Doe 4.
• While Jackson was in custody at Orange County Jail between 2014 and 2015, Jackson spoke with Jane Doe 5 on the phone and was heard intimidating and dissuading the victim from testifying in court.
• Additionally, in January 2015, Jackson made criminal threats against a man he heard in the background while on the phone with Jane Doe 5.

Members of the OCHTTF and the Orange County District Attorney's (OCDA) Office work proactively to protect women and minors from falling victim to commercial sexual exploitation. This case was investigated by OCHTTF, a partnership between APD, California Highway Patrol, Costa Mesa Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Irvine Police Department, Newport Beach Police Department, OCDA, Orange County Sheriff's Department, Santa Ana Police Department, and community and non-profit partners.
