Calum McSwiggan, known for online posts and videos, has pleaded guilty to vandalizing a car in a case in which he claimed to have been the victim of a hate crime in West Hollywood, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced today.

McSwiggan, 26, entered the guilty plea yesterday to one felony count of vandalism over $400 damage in case SA093827.

The defendant was immediately sentenced to three years felony probation, 52 anger management counseling sessions and paid $7,000 in restitution.

During an altercation with three men on June 27, McSwiggan damaged the car mirror and bumper of the vehicle of one of the men. The defendant is alleged to have then falsely claim to police that he had been beaten by the vehicle's driver and two other men, prosecutors said.

The case was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, West Hollywood Station.
