Not a Good Idea to Post Child Pornography on Facebook after Illegally Reentering the United States after Deportation

Posted by Fay Arfa | Jun 27, 2019 | 0 Comments

The feds indicted 50 year old Jose Ramon Aguilar-Moreno, a Salvadoran national who was deported from the United States in 2003 after being convicted of sexually abusing a child, for illegally reentering the United States and posting child pornography on Facebook. Even worse, he failed to register as a sex offender. Specifically, in June 2018 Aguilar-Moreno allegedly knowingly distributed three videos depicting child pornography. Aguilar-Moreno used an alias, “Abel Aguilar,” and posted the videos on Facebook, which later notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Lesson learned: Convicted sex offenders must register, must not possess CP and must not post it on Facebook.
