MAN SENTENCED TO 70 YEARS IN PRISON FOR CONTINUOUSLY SEXUALLY ABUSING FOUR BOYS UNDER 14 YEARS OLD

SANTA ANA, Calif. – A man was sentenced to 70 years in state prison today for continuously sexually abusing four boys under 14 years old.

Circumstances of the Case

  • At the time of the crime, Ricardez was an acquaintance of the victims' families.
  • Between August 2014 and September 2015, Ricardez committed lewd acts upon four boys under 14 years old on several occasions.
  • 13-year-old John Doe 1 and 12-year-old John Doe 2's parents reported the crime to OCSD, who investigated this case and arrested the defendant on Sept. 10, 2015.
  • 11-year-old victims John Doe 3 and John Doe 4 were identified during the investigation following Ricardez's arrest.
