Man Charged with Burglarizing Celebrity Homes

A man was charged today with allegedly targeting and burglarizing the homes of celebrities, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced.

Tyress Williams (dob 8/3/99) of Los Angeles faces four felony counts of first-degree residential burglary, according to the criminal complaint in case BA471860.

The defendant is expected to be arraigned today in Department 30 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center.

According to prosecutors, the defendant allegedly burglarized four residences – a home owned by singer Tota Matthieu on Aug. 24; professional baseball player Yasiel Puig's residence on Sept. 18; a home owned by singer Rihanna on Sept. 25; and a residence owned by professional football player Robert Woods on Sept. 27.

Williams faces a possible maximum sentence of 10 years in state prison if convicted as charged. Prosecutors are requesting bail be set at $200,000.

The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
