A Lancaster man and woman have entered no contest pleas to charges related to the disappearance of an 18-month-old girl that was found by police alone in a shed, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced today.

Deputy District Attorney Dennis Vincent said Brandon Michael Wynn, 34, pleaded no contest late yesterday to two counts each of human trafficking with a great bodily injury allegation and pimping and one count each of first-degree residential robbery, assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, bleach, and attempted murder.

The second defendant in case MA066536, Regina Renee Estorga, 45, entered a no contest plea to one count each of kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon, bleach.

Both defendants are scheduled to return to court for sentencing on Feb. 4 in Department A20 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Antelope Valley Branch.

Wynn faces 26 years in state prison as a result of his plea and Estorga faces a six-year sentence.

Wynn and Estorga forced women into prostitution. On July 16, 2015, Wynn broke into the home of one of his human trafficking victims and assaulted her, the prosecutor said.

On July 18, 2015, Wynn and Estorga took the same woman to a remote area in the desert where they beat her, doused her with bleach and left her naked and tied up, the prosecutor added.

When Wynn became aware that an Amber Alert had been issued for the victim's 18-months-old daughter who was under the care of another of his human trafficking victims, he took the toddler to a shed in Palmdale and left her there, the prosecutor said

The case was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
