A 45-year-old man was found guilty today of fatally shooting his parents-in-law in his West Covina home, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced.

The jury deliberated for about three hours before finding Caminero Wang guilty of two counts of first-degree murder in case KA112295. The jury also found true a special circumstance allegation of multiple murders and special allegations of using a handgun which caused great bodily injury and death.

Wang is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 8 in Department L of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Pomona Branch. He faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Deputy District Attorney Kelsey McKeever-Unger said on April 13, 2016, Wang executed his father-in-law and mother-in-law at his home in the 1300 block of East Oahu Avenue. Victims Shu Zhang and Aiping Diao, both 60 years old, were visiting from China, according to evidence presented in court.

Wang had previously threatened his wife's life and the life of her parents, the prosecutor said.

The case was investigated by the West Covina Police Department.
