Former Army Private with Charged with Felony Child Exploitation Charges

Posted by Fay Arfa | Nov 09, 2023 | 0 Comments

The U.S. Attorney‛s office charged twenty-three-year-old Parker William White, who was already charged with one count of possession of child pornography, with four more felony child exploitation charges, including that he knowingly produced child sexual abuse material (CSAM) featuring a 14-year-old girl.

White allegedly used Instagram and other social media platforms to find minor “girlfriends” as young as 13. White would groom the girls by telling them that he would treat them like “queens.” A new charge alleges that, in November 2021, White knowingly induced a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexually explicit conduct to produce a visual depiction of such conduct. The visual portrayal was produced using materials mailed, shipped, and transported, affecting interstate commerce. The prosecution also alleges that that three times, in November 2021 and January 2022, White knowingly received child sexual abuse material that had been transported through interstate commerce, including by computer.

An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

White faces at least 15 years in federal prison for the production of child pornography; at least five years and up to 20 years in prison for each receipt of child pornography, and a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison for child pornography.
