The City Attorney's office hired a New York lawyer to represent the City's interest in a LADWP lawsuit. The N.Y. lawyer, via bribes to LADWP and City Attorney officials, got kickbacks and set up his own company. He and the others broke the law and are now will be ow serving federal prison sentences.
