I have the unfortunate pleasure of now being in Arkansas. It's nice to see that laws do exist somewhere in America. I am subjected daily to a white neighbor who I do not know, screaming diatribes of racist obscenities at me. I have been told daily that if I don't go back home myself and my beaner kids are dead. She's already pulled a shot gun on us and shot me twice. Thank God I run fast. The police were called and they never showed up. We called them again and they laughed at me and told me they were too busy to come. Sadly the assaults have escalated. My children and I cannot even go outside without looking around us constantly. My father is now here with us and he is being called "f-ing mexican, beaner, all the same racial obscenities we are. The house has damage from eggs being thrown at it, the mailbox is regularly beaten off the stand. Hooded men come in the dark and threaten our lives...all the while the white sheriff and his white officers do nothing. Come to find out the Sheriff and this woman are lifelong family friends. I wish we had the justice California does then maybe we wouldn't fear death everyday. Ob and our crime??? Our name is Flores and we speak Spanish openly. Now we have been condemned.
